Nashville named one of the friendliest cities in the world

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Conde Nast Traveler has named Nashville, Tennessee, as one of the friendliest cities in the world for 2016.

Nashville ranked No. 10 on the list of 30 cities worldwide. Click here to view the full list.

The publication states that the city “has so much character, is the perfect size, has great live music, delicious restaurants, friendly people, affordable accommodations… the list goes on.”

Charleston, South Carolina, took the No. 1 spot on the list with Burlington, Vermont, coming in at No. 30.

Other areas like Galway, Ireland, and Edinburgh, Scotland, also made the list.

On the flipside, Detroit, Michigan was named No. 8 and Newark, New Jersey, nabbed the No. 1 spot on the website’s unfriendliest cities of the world list.
