Last week, students in Mrs. Brewer’s classes learned about what #adulting really is through the On My Own simulation. Students are given an occupation, entry level salary and family scenario. They are charged with being the major income provider for their household and must work through a month of purchases including housing, transportation, utilities, childcare, groceries, clothing, entertainment and unexpected expenses.
